Artwork, mounted and framed with a hand painted perspex layer for unique 3D finish

“As I turned the corner I was hit by the winter light on the calm sea in the open bay. The beautiful sky of rolling clouds over head and the skeletal wild flowers created a fragile natural frame to the sea and sky beyond. Once I created the image I wanted to extend the artwork beyond the mount and use the shadows cast by the painted lines on the transparent layer as part of the design.”

Each inset artprint is individually printed to order using Archival Professional watercolour paper. Digitally printed from the original image. Lightfast Inks, professional 10 piece set. Mounted in a white mount. The transparent layer is hand painted on both sides to create a 3D effect artwork layer. This is added and retained using 6 x pins to hold the Perspex in place.

We have carefully selected a good quality wooden Box Frame in white

Overall size is 650 x 530mm, Internal size is 606 x 437mm, Aperture is 420 x 297mm. Material is classic white painted, semi gloss with 20 mm spacers. Snow white, single white archival mount. Mount depth visible is 70mm on each edge.

Finish is White semi gloss, painted finish with acrylic glazing.

Finished ready to hang with screw hooks, archival backing board, taped for longevity.
